Here are a few things you need to do to attend the practical exercises of our courses. Unfortunately, some of the information linked below is currently available in German only. It will be translated. In the meantime ask German colleagues for help with the respective pages. We apologize for the inconvenience.

1. Get an account at the Institute for Computer Science:

- Extend the validity of your account to the terminal pools in the "Altbau" building:

For attending a course you should register for the course.

1. Go to the website of the course and check there for any special registration information. If available, follow the instructions given there.
2. Otherwise, send an e-mail to the staff mailing list of the course stating
   1. your name
   2. your matriculation number
   3. your account in the Computer Science Department (see above)
   4. your regularly attended e-mail address

Without the above information, we cannot process your request.

Each lecture, seminar or lab has a mailing list for its participants and one for the teaching staff responsible for the course. Being in the mailing list for participants is essential for getting information about exercises, schedule, examinations, etc.
