Practical exercises are carried out in small groups (3 to 4 students) that meet their tutor in the terminal pool A106 (Römerstr. 164, Altbau)

If you failed to attend your own group's meeting because of illness you may attend another group. Here is an overview of all exercise group times. All meetings start at the full hour, sharp (e.g. 14:00):

• Monday: 14
• Tuesday: 11, 12, 13, 14
• Wednesday: 11, 12, 13, 14

The prerequisites for being admitted to the examination include

• successful completion of at least 50% of the exercises
• attendance to all the exercise group meetings (with at most two exceptions¹⁾).

In addition, the meetings with your tutor are your opportunity to present your exercise results, get feedback and discuss open questions. They are the best preparation for the exam.

All the assignments are submitted via a Subversion (SVN) repository. Each exercise group has its own repository.

Start by the installation of the Subversion Client for Eclipse.

Then configure the acess to the exercise group's repository:

1. Go to Window → Open Perspective → SVN Repository Exploring in the menue of Eclipse
2. … in the context menue of the SVN Repository View that just appeared
3. … choose New Repository Location
4. … in the window that will open enter:
   • The URL for your exercise group's repository:
     https://svn.iai.uni-bonn.de/repos/IAI_Software/se/alp2012/group/xx/ ← Replace xx by the number of your group
   • Your SVN account name: Sent to you by e-mail
   • Your SVN password: Sent to you by e-mail

You will receive your SVN account name²⁾ and SVN password by email to the address that you entered when registering in URS.

You can change your SVN passwort online at https://svn.iai.uni-bonn.de/svn_control/access/login/iai_software.³⁾
